Textile Center Memberships

Members are at the heart of Textile Center, helping us further our mission of honoring textile traditions, promoting excellence and innovation, nurturing appreciation, and inspiring widespread participation in fiber art. We invite you to take a personal artistic journey with a community of like-minded artists and enthusiasts!

 

Membership Levels:

  • Individual Membership: Open to everyone interested in becoming a Textile Center member.
  • Bamboo Guild Membership: This special membership level is for those who are a part of a Textile Center affiliated guild.  Before signing up, click here to view a list of current guilds of Textile Center. If you do not see your guild, please join us as an Individual Member.
  • Hemp Student Membership: Open to anyone who is a current student, from junior high to Ph.D.
  • Ramie Educator + Shop Artist Membership: Open to anyone who is currently employed as an educator, including teaching artists and part-time instructors, as well as Textile Center Shop Artists
  • Worsted Wool Household Membership: Open to those who wish to join as a household. Includes up to 6 people of any ages.
  • Fine Linen Membership: An individual membership for those who wish to support the Textile Center at a higher contribution level.
  • Angora Membership: An individual membership for those who wish to support the Textile Center at a higher contribution level.

Member Benefits:

  • 10% discount in the Textile Center Shop + special offers throughout the year
  • Invitations to participate in members-only tours
  • Borrowing/check out privileges in the Textile Center Pat O’Connor Library of 35,000 books, periodicals, media materials, and textile tools
  • Discounts on more than 200 classes, lectures, seminars and workshops a year
  • Inclusion of your artwork in our biennial member exhibition, A Common Thread
  • Higher commission rate as an artist in the Textile Center Shop
  • Exclusive ability to rent the Ellen Erede Wells Dye Lab

Textile Center Leadership Circle

The Leadership Circle celebrates Textile Center annual fund donors who support our mission of honoring textile traditions and promoting excellence and innovation in fiber art by making contributions of $500 and above. We are pleased to recognize the Leadership Circle’s commitment with a complimentary membership, and through special events and activities with nationally and internationally renowned artists, as well as opportunities centered on fiber art.
