Learn basic crocheting skills needed to create a Granny Square and then see where your creativity takes you. All are welcome – no crocheting experience necessary.
OCTOBER EVENT:
Hand Quilted Tarot Cards
Thursday, October 26, 5 – 7:30 pm
$15
Join The Snips Fiber Arts Collective Co-Founders Natalie Novacek and Shannon Twohy and learn how to create a Hand Quilted Tarot Card!
Tarot can be interpreted by some as a mirror that reflects what is happening in your life at this moment. Natalie and Shannon will guide participants through choosing from a variety of Tarot-related icons and images to iron transfer onto a postcard-sized fabric substrate. Bring your design to life with a stitched collage using quilting techniques, and embellish with a variety of sequins, trims, and beads.
All are welcome – no experience necessary.
Our goal with Craft Night events is to provide accessible, welcoming, low-price-point ways to get introduced to the world of fiber art and Textile Center.
These events are perfect for beginners — even those who wouldn’t consider themselves “crafty”! We hope you’ll join us.
