Textiles on the Town (ToT) is our bi-weekly, comprehensive e-newsletter. Each issue includes announcements about Textile Center news and events, as well as textile and fiber art related events, exhibitions, and opportunities from the community. These newsletters are sent to a mailing list of nearly 10,000 individuals.

Paid ads

Open to all Textile Center individual members and Textile Center affiliated guilds

• $20 per ad
• Ads are for events or resources that are over a $10 ticket fee to participate in, or revenue-earning events such as sales or classes.
• Your image is created with any text and graphics included – we will not prepare this for you. Please do not send images and text separately.
• Image size: 600 pixels wide by 300 pixels tall, or 4 inches wide by 2 inches tall
• Image resolution: Between 96-300 pixels per inch
• Color: RGB
• Format: .jpg or .pdf
• Must include a publication date (email Mia at mfinnamore@textilecentermn.org for upcoming dates)
• Only one ad is allowed per person/guild/business per newsletter

Free text-only ads

Open to all

• These listings are FREE to include, and they are text only
• Listings are for events or resources that are free and open to the public, or a $10 ticket fee and under to participate. Revenue-earning events such as sales or classes require a paid ad of $20. See “Paid ads” column — paid ads are for members only.
• 3-5 sentence maximum
• Must include a web link or contact email for more information
• Must include a publication date (email Mia at mfinnamore@textilecentermn.org for upcoming dates)
• Only one listing is allowed per person/guild/business per newsletter

Your advertisement will be sorted into the “Member News” section, under one of two categories: Community Events & Happenings, and Artist Opportunities & Resources.
