COVID-19 Policies (updated 9/7/21):

Textile Center’s COVID-19 Vaccination Mandate

To provide a community environment that focuses on the health and safety of all during this current phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, Textile Center will now require teaching artists, students, and volunteers who are participating in in-person activities at Textile Center and volunteers working at the upcoming Garage Sale Occasional Shop to be fully vaccinated. This policy is effective Monday, September 13, 2021. (This past week Textile Center implemented a vaccine mandate for employees and interns.)

As defined by the CDC: “…people are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.”

Proof of vaccination may be uploaded securely online through the form here. All information will be kept confidential.

A class participant who is not fully vaccinated will receive a full tuition refund or may use tuition to transfer into a digital class or an in-person class that takes place once fully vaccinated.

Textile Center will not require proof of vaccination for shoppers (at Textile Center or the Garage Sale Occasional Shop) or those viewing exhibitions or checking books out from the Textile Center Library, but are required to wear facemasks until otherwise notified, as well as continue to practice social distancing.

Your support of these COVID-19 policies ensure that we can maintain a safe and supportive environment for everyone engaged in our Textile Center programs.

Thank you!
