Textile Center is free and open to the public. Situated near the confluence of the twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Textile Center is located in the Prospect Park neighborhood across the street from the Prospect Park Station of the METRO Green Line light rail.
Parking is available in the lot directly behind our building (entrance at Arthur Ave and Sidney Place), and the lot at 3018 University Ave SE, just two doors east of Textile Center. Look for the green signs!
Additional parking is available at the University of Minnesota’s Prospect Park Ramp (next to the Green Line Prospect Park Station) at 390 29th Ave. SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455. (It’s only a two-block walk to Textile Center.) Rates (when Event parking is not in effect) are $3 per hour during times of high demand (9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday – Friday); $1 per hour at all other times.
Three bicycle racks are situated to the west side of the building.

Textile Center is an accessible facility. You will find designated handicapped spots in our parking lot. Audio assistance devices are available upon request in our auditorium for meetings and events. Learn more about the audio assistance equipment.
Textile Center is closed on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.
For our out of town guests, we have lodging and accommodations available right down the street, and the Minneapolis/Saint Paul International Airport just a 15-20 minute drive away, or at the Prospect Park light rail stop (no car necessary)!
