Karen Searle, longtime Textile Center member, supporter, author, publisher, and artist, shares her new work–focused on an intensive practice that addresses timely and ongoing cultural issues. In this exhibition, her handmade objects become visual representations of our time-is-money economy, commenting on the disconnect between the time needed to make work and the value of the work itself.
