Explore the ancient technique of looping or knotless netting, which has been used by many cultures to create a textile that resembles knitting. Looping can be used to create bags and sculptures, or as a finish for other textiles. All that is needed is a blunt tapestry needle. Learn several stitch textures ranging from open and stretchy to firm and dense. Gain insight into the cultural origins pf looping and its uses around the world. Participants will be able to create a small bag or pouch during class. All levels welcome.

Materials fee is $5, payable to the instructor at the time of class.
