The Gossip Project with Winnie van der Rijn

All are welcome to join visiting artist Winnie van der Rijn and participate in her ongoing work, “The Gossip Project: How to Play Well With Others” which brings together performance + community + participation + conversation + selective editing + embellished lipstick monoprints on vintage napkins.

Participants will have one-on-one or small group conversations whilst wearing lipstick (provided by Winnie) and drink staining beverages with the goal of staining the napkins. Photographs will be taken of willing participants’ lips. The stained napkins will be further embellished by participants through embroidery and stitching. All participants will be listed as contributors to “The Gossip Project.”
