Art Speaks: Susan Iverson

Susan Iverson, exhibiting artist in our exhibition Silver Jubilee, will offer sights into the developments in her tapestry works over time, and talk about and answer questions about her current work in tapestry. Free and open to the public, located in the Joan Mondale Gallery!

About Susan Iverson:
Susan Iverson lives and works in rural Hanover County, Virginia near the small village of Montpelier. In 2015 she retired from her position as a Professor in the School of the Arts, Department of Craft/Material Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States and is included in many collections including the Renwick Gallery at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC. She earned a MFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia and a BFA from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, Colorado. susaniversonart.com
