There is a new face around Textile Center – it is that of Chloe Russell, our new Outreach and Youth Program Coordinator!

Chloe joins our team with a deep passion for textile and fiber arts. She has a background in artistic programming and exhibition coordination, with an emphasis on accessibility and equity.

In her role at Textile Center, Chloe will help cultivate Textile Center’s expanding outreach into diverse communities through managing our Outreach Classes and youth programs, including the Youth Fiber Art Guild, summer programs, and field trips.

“I am excited to join the team at Textile Center, and eager to merge my interest in textile arts with my experience in coordinating nonprofit programs. I’m looking forward to working with textile enthusiasts and art-curious individuals of all abilities in the Outreach and Youth programs!”

A Textile Center garage sale frequenter, Chloe is currently working on building out her wardrobe of home-sewn clothing. She loves illustrating fabric designs and printing them on fabric to use in quilting and clothing.

Next time you are at Textile Center, say hello to Chloe as you shop through the Mary Giles Gallery!
