The fiber art works selected from these progressive arts studios are profoundly innovative and meaningful as visual autobiographies through chosen materials, techniques, and imagery. Join us to celebrate the work of these artists in challenging artistic conventions through non-traditional learning modalities.

Fresh Eye Arts is a progressive art studio program supporting artists with a variety of disabilities. Artists in their program are supported in developing their art practice, connecting with the arts community, and pursuing opportunities to show and sell their work locally, nationally, and even internationally. With studio locations in Brooklyn Park, Eagan, and St. Paul, they support over 50 artists in a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, printmaking, textiles, ceramics, and more.
In addition to the studios, they operate a community art space in Minneapolis called Fresh Eye Gallery where artists from their program can exhibit work alongside their peers from the Twin Cities arts community. Fresh Eye Arts and Gallery are programs of MSS—Midwest Special Services–a day support and employment provider serving adults with disabilities in the Twin Cities Metro Area since 1949.
