Karen Morris
All the way from the hat body to a complete hat, this workshop brings students a new experience in making a beautiful winter felt fedora that will endure a lifetime of wear! Begin with learning to measure the head and size the hat for a perfect fit. Then learn how to block, finish, and trim a felt fedora to industry standards using a wooden hat block, stiffening agents, and wire to shape a crown and brim of the hat. Don’t miss this opportunity to join us for this special 2-day course, designed to help students develop their knowledge of millinery practices using both traditional and modern millinery techniques. This class is suitable for all levels.
Materials fee $45, payable to instructor.
