Create simple 2D and 3D quilted covers, cozies, and coozies to adorn and protect every object in your life! Learn basic quilting skills by focusing on three mini projects from start to finish. Begin by making a sewing machine cover and a can or Mason jar coozie during the first half of class. Then, design and create a cover for another item of your choosing. Laptop sleeve? Sure! Dog brush cover? Of course! Ukulele case? Watering can cozy? Pepper mill protector? Why not! Learn to create covers, cozies, and coozies using pattern-based piecing as well as improvisational techniques in quilting. No experience necessary. Youth crafters age 12 yrs+ may register with an accompanying adult (who is also registered for class). Some experience using a sewing machine is helpful but not required.
