Eliza Jorgenson
In this intermediate level needle felting class, participants will learn to build sculptures entirely with felt. Students will learn to needle felt 3D shapes (free standing and with an underlying structure), connect the shapes together, blend, and add final detailing. This class will focus on making one predetermined design. After learning these basic techniques, students will leave feeling confident to make any sculpture in the future! The Get Started: Needle Felting class is recommended to understand the basics of needle felting but it is not required. Please note that students may be required to sit for long periods of time and simultaneously hold material in one hand while performing a repetitive stabbing action with a needle in the other. It is also likely that students will get poked by their needle.
A $10 materials fee is due to the instructor at the time of class.
