Curious about English paper piecing? Learn basic skills in hand-stitched English (aka Mosaic) paper piecing quilting techniques by making a pair of eco-friendly earrings. Use fabric scraps to cut and stitch a variety of geometrical shapes. Then turn those shapes into light-weight earrings or another small accessory. Experiment with basic English paper piecing hand-stitching techniques including whipstitch and flat back stitch.
Materials fee is $5 and is payable to the instructor at the time of class.

Instructor Bio:
Sarah Degner Riveros (she/her/ella) has been doing embroidery since childhood and sewing since gradeschool in 4-H. She started quilting in 2003. She recently turned her living room into a quilt studio. She loves English paper piecing to create exact angles in hand piecing. She finds free motion quilting to be meditative.
