Are you looking for a creative way to use up extra fabric in your stash or put your Textile Center Stashery finds to work? Do you enjoy having beautiful handmade placemats and rugs to use in your home or give as gifts? This class is for you! Learn how to make the popular Jelly Roll Rug with your sewing machine. Students will have time to create one placemat during the class. Open to students who have basic sewing skills and are confident using their sewing machines.

Instructor Bio:
Kris Livingston (she/her) has loved sewing since childhood. She has over 30 years of professional experience working in theater costume design, custom home furnishings, children’s applique for retail, as well as a teacher. Kris aims to spark joy with her designs, products, and teaching. Learn more here!
