Calling all block printers! Create unique, handmade printed gifts for friends and family members and join us for a Holiday Printing Frenzy! Using blocks from the instructor’s own extensive collection, print designs in one or more colors of ink on a variety of fabric products, such as tote bags, aprons, scarves, and dish towels. This class is perfect for students who have taken our Intro to the Art of Hand Block Printing class, or who have experience with the basics of block printing. Printing time limited to 2-hour time slots.
Pre-registration recommended; drop-ins welcome.
Supply options:
Materials fee, between $10-$30, payable to instructor at the time of class, will cover woodblocks, inks, and optional blanks for printing.
Students may…
Bring their own natural fiber items from home to print on (cotton, silk, rayon)
Purchase blank items from Textile Center’s Shop

Instructor Bio:
Katrina Ulrich is a textile artist and owner of Marigold Arts & Adventures, where she keeps busy teaching classes, leading tours, and creating her own work. She spent her childhood in Madagascar and India, and studied hand block printing for eight years in Jaipur, India with Master Printers. She works in her home printing studio, where she has a collection of over 200 blocks to use—and leads socially conscious travel tours to India. marigoldartsandadventures.com
