Emily Missaghi
ShopEmily began working with fiber in the early days of the pandemic when she taught herself to weave on a homemade loom. Since then she has expanded into tufting floor rugs and wall hangings, which is her primary work currently. Emily loves the flexibility tufting provides, allowing her to improvise and play as she works. What makes fiber art so special to her is that it provided a unique connection to her husbands grandmother, a prolific weaver who we recently lost to Alzheimer’s, Emily is deeply grateful to carry on her craft within her family, and delighted to be working with such an expressive medium.
