ShopDarla Jo Boggs, (she/her), learned to knit as a young child and has been knitting ever since, exploring different techniques and yarns along the way. She has a passion for mittens, and has knit every shape, size and type imaginable. After learning how to create a basic “recipe” for the sizing and shaping of felted mittens, she discovered the wonders of Norwegian yarns, and how luxuriously they felt. The Norwegian yarns’ bold colors are the basis of her one of a kind colorful felted mittens that shed water and snow and keep one’s hands toasty warm all winter. She is always searching for new and different yarns and continues to create new and different mittens. It is her goal to incorporate the brilliance of colors found all around us – in the garden, in nature, in foods, or in anything that brings joy and a smile.
