Janae Alyse
Explore the historic process of cyanotypes! This vibrant technique uses the power of the sun to expose detailed prints on surfaces. In this class, students will first be introducted to the method of cyanotype by creating 3 small canvas patches to experiment with exposure times, composition, and objects to print with. These handmade patches can be taken home to use on another project later. Students will then complete their final cyanotype print on a 11.5″ x 10.5″ canvas banner. The result of cyanotype is pure magic and one of a kind!
$20 materials fee is due to the instructor at the start of class and includes all materials needed to complete the in-class project.
