Crochet on 3D Forms will introduce the basics of crochet over a three-dimensional object. Learn how to crochet a magic circle, increase and decrease and the double crochet stitch. Students will leave with a wrapped rock by the end of the class and the basic skills to crochet around a 3D form. Basic crochet knowledge (create a loop, chain and single crochet) is recommended.

A materials fee of $5 is due to the instructor at the time of class.

Instructor Bio:

Rita Chuk-Petroskas (she/her) is a fiber artist with a background in textile design, and I enjoy working with a variety of techniques including weaving, macramé, embroidery, and crochet. While much of my work is self-taught, I’ve also spent years learning through many classes and workshops. A favorite way to bring it all together is by incorporating recycled and found materials into my embroidery, often combining them with the thread and yarn stashes I’ve collected over the years. It allows me to make work that is unique, personal and sustainable. @ritabooshop
