Ready, Set, Crochet! Join us for a special Craft Night dedicated to the art of crochet. Beginners will learn basic crochet stitches — including the slip knot, chain stitch, and double crochet stitch — everything needed to create a classic 2-ring granny square! Experienced crocheters are encouraged to join us for this casual community event and challenge Chloe Russell Chang, Education Manager and reigning champion of Textile Center’s Fastest Crocheter title, to a little healthy competition. If you can make a granny square in less than 1 minute and 9 seconds, you’ll beat Chloe’s record and claim your place as a member of crochet royalty!

Special gift for Prospect Park residents: Thanks to support from the Prospect Park Co-Op Legacy Fund, we’re pleased to offer free registration to our neighbors living in the Prospect Park neighborhood (click here for a map). To take advantage of this opportunity, please use the coupon code prospectpark at checkout.

Craft Night is a monthly social gathering for crafters of all levels to come together in a fun, welcoming space to work on the Craft Night project. Textile Center will provide written instructions and demos for the Craft Night project; however, for more intensive instruction or one-on-one support, please join one of our core adult classes or intergenerational classes.
