Turn your fabric stash into beautiful, resuable beeswax food wraps! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make beeswax wraps that you can use for wrapping food, covering containers and reducing single-use plastic in your home. Create custom sizes, shapes and designs, whether you are using beeswax wraps for everyday use or thoughtful gifts for friends and family.
Materials Fee of $20 payable to the instructor at the start of class, includes fabric, beeswax, pine resin, jojoba oil, content label and parchment paper.
Instructor Bio:
Winna Bernard (she/her) has led numerous classes and workshops for diverse age groups and abilities, covering mordant preparation and various pounding and preparation techniques on fabric and paper. As a retired social worker and founder of a nonprofit arts organization, Winna brings strong interpersonal skills to her teaching. Her expertise also includes machine and free-motion sewing, quilting, and hand embroidery.
