Art Speaks: One, Two, Many with Pat Pauly

Thursday, April 20, 2023 • 5 pm CT • Hybrid, with in-person and virtual options

Textile Center welcomed artist Pat Pauly to the Twin Cities for a special public lecture on improv piecing quilts to accompany her 5-day intensive quilting workshop. In this hybrid in-person / online presentation, Pat looked at the composition of fiber works that use improvisational piecing techniques. She touched base on traditional pattern making, as well as introduced the practice fiber artists use in designing non-traditional contemporary works. Whether it’s one piece of fabric, two yards, or many — Pat showed how the sky’s the limit with art quilting!
