When the air get cold, knitters are happy because they have an excuse to show off their hand-knit mittens, gloves, and socks. These small everyday items are a great place to show off lace, cables, color work and beaded knitting skills, as well as, keep you toasty. The current exhibit at Textile Center features the extremity-warming work of the Minnesota Knitters’ Guild. Many of the items on display will be donated to charity when the display comes down in January.
