Walia Hasan brings her luminous silk creations to the shop in a special Trunk Show at Textile Center, featuring hand-painted silk bandanas, scarves, headbands, hand painted tops for women, accessories, and a few experimental fiber pieces of block prints.

Blending traditional techniques learned in Indonesia and Pakistan, with a modern, exploratory approach, Walia’s work celebrates the vibrant flow of dyes and the beauty of natural fabrics. With an extensive background in engineering, she brings a unique perspective to the chemistry of color and process.
