Trunk Show with Jabbar Khatri, SIDR Craft + Sufiyan Khatri, Dec 16 – 20

Textile Center is excited to welcome back two artist groups you might remember from our 2019 Holiday Gallery Shop, Bandhani artists and designers Abduljabbar and Abdullah Khatri of SIDR Craft and Ajrakh block print artist and designer Sufiyan Khatri from his studio, Sufiyan. Their elegant handmade natural fiber goods have made it all the way to us from the Kutch region of Gujarat, India, and we are thrilled to offer them again this year. Their trunk show features wraps, throws, and stoles in cotton and silk–tied, dyed, and printed by master artisans from their studios, in exquisite patterns, colors, and textures. Embrace the beauty of Indian textile tradition for gifting this year!
