This will be our fourth trip to the beautiful Nordic nation, May 1 – 9, 2026, hosted in partnership with Blueprint Tours, Inc., in the United States and Travel Beyond in Iceland. Join Textile Center’s Executive Director Karl Reichert and our Icelandic guide Hjálmár Óskarsson of Travel Beyond for an adventure that includes opportunities such as:

Meeting fiber artists
Participating in a hands-on natural dye workshop with expert Guðrún Bjarnadóttir
Visiting a working farm (during lambing season!)
Touring two Istex factories where 90% of all Icelandic wool is scoured and processed
Learning about Icelandic culture
Experiencing the island’s natural beauty

This will be our last tour to Iceland for the next few years, so we encourage you to take advantage of the wonderful program we have established thanks to our Icelandic friends! The tour price is $5,996, based on double occupancy and includes round-trip airfare.
