MORE ABOUT CAROLYN BUCKINGHAM

Carolyn Buckingham lived her 88 years of life to their fullest. She travelled the world, often for quilting shows or fiber arts tours. After retiring, Carolyn took as many quilting classes as she could fit into her schedule, just for the sheer joy of learning something new and for the chance to interact with other quilters. She would arrange mini-teaching tours for her favorite teachers and of course they would stay with her for part of the tours.

Carolyn’s curiosity and enthusiasm for all things quilting led her to create an incredible stash. Even if you do not quilt or sew, come to the sale for hand-crafted treasures! Living in Baltimore most of her adult life, Carolyn loved to shop at the Smithsonian Craft Show and the American Craft Council show in Baltimore. The Textile Center has curated a selection of jewelry, scarves, clothing and other items from these shows and her travels for you to purchase.
