Our society has a complex relationship to nature. Blue World/Green World, a diverse exhibition of vibrant art quilts, explores this connection. Through multifaceted work that crosses the boundaries of the representative, to the impressionistic, to the abstract – this show reveals the beauty and pathos of our association to the contemporary natural world.
This exhibition was organized by the Fiber Artists Coalition. Fiber Artists Coalition is a group of Midwestern textile artists all of whom are professional members of Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) . We have joined together to promote the art quilt by bringing this exciting art form to the public through traveling art exhibits.
