Art Speaks: A Common Thread 2021– Text and Textiles

Friday, October 8, 2021 • 12 – 1 pm CT FREE • Via Zoom

Participating Artists: Georgia Greeley, Trina Porte, Amanda Shopa, and Lorri Talberg

Join us in conversation about text and textiles with A Common Thread exhibiting member artists Georgia Greeley, Trina Porte, Amanda Shopa, and Lorri Talberg. These artists will talk about their work in the show, along with discussing how their practice in textiles utilizes the written word as a method of active engagement and story telling. Visit Textile Center to see their work in person in the A Common Thread exhibition (on view through October 16, 2021) — and tune in on Zoom for this panel-style digital event!
