Art Speaks: A Common Thread 2021 — Textiles as Social Practice

Tuesday, September 21, 2021 • 12 – 1 pm CT FREE • Via Zoom

Participating Artists: Mimi Goodwin, Jeri Oliver, Nora Rickey, and Ruth Stevens

Join us in conversation about textiles and social practice with A Common Thread exhibiting member artists Mimi Goodwin, Jeri Oliver, Nora Rickey, and Ruth Stevens. These artists will talk about their work in the show, along with discussing how their practice in textiles relates to human engagement, interaction, and social discourse. Visit Textile Center to see their work in person in the A Common Thread exhibition (on view through October 16, 2021) — and tune in on Zoom for this panel-style digital event!
