Jules Bunch
Create a pair of thick, seamless cozy wool mittens (or oven mitts!) using the basics of wet felting. Students will learn to layer wool for insulation, work with flat resists to form the hand and thumb, and shape durable felt through water, soap, and movement.
Choose from a palette inspired by Minnesota’s winter landscape and frozen waterways and customize thickness and surface design. This calm, beginner-friendly class offers a satisfying, hands-on process and a functional finished pair to take home.
A materials fee of $18 is due to the instructor at the beginning of class and includes all materials needed to make a snuffle mat. Cash or Venmo preferred.
This class is a part of our Fiber Art for All: Tributary festivities – celebrating Minnesota waterways and the ways that water inspires and supports fiber art techniques. Learn more about our Fiber Art for All Open House celebration on Feb 19 + 20, 2027 here!
