Learn the basics of Tunisian crochet, which combines crochet and weaving concepts to produce a sturdy, waffle-like texture. First, students will learn about the different tools used, yarns that work best for this craft, and then practice the basic Tunisian crochet stitch by working up a cotton dishcloth. Finally, students will learn about other stitches, how to finish projects, and how to block for better shaping.
A $10 materials fee is due to the instructor at the time of class and includes aTunisian crochet hook and cotton yarn to make a dishcloth.
