Learn to replace a pants zipper in jeans and other casual pants. This class will cover removal and complete replacement of a broken pants zipper. Give your favorite pants a new life! Students will need to bring their own sewing machine and have basic understanding of machine sewing, all other supplies including YKK zippers, thread, and scissors will be provided.
Instructor Bio:
Lily Sevilla (she/her) is an experienced mender who specializes in zipper repair and darning. She has repaired thousands of items of clothing and gear through her work with the Repair Lair and ReUse Minnesota. Lily finds repair to be both creative outlet and rewarding practice that keep loved items in use.
