Jules Bunch
In this playful, pizza?party-inspired workshop, participants will learn foundational wet-felting techniques while “building” their own wool-felt pizza snuffle mat for cats. Students will explore how to create pockets, layer pre-felts, and sculpt dimensional toppings using strategic fiber placement, resist methods, agitation, and controlled shaping. By the end of the session, students will leave with a completed snuffle mat ready to enrich a feline’s sensory world, along with a deeper understanding of wool behavior, creative problem-solving, and the joy of transforming loose fiber into a durable, interactive textile. And for those who don’t have a cat in their life, the finished felt pizza doubles beautifully as a functional trivet — a playful, handmade addition to any kitchen.
A materials fee of $12 is due to the instructor at the beginning of class and includes all materials needed to make a snuffle mat.
