Riley Kleve
Refresh your sneakers with custom-made shoelaces. Learn to use lucet forks and finger loop braiding to design and create two pairs of new shoelaces. Lucets are a Viking-age tool used to make slightly stretchy cords in the days before elastic. Finger loop braids are another old-school way to create cords without any additional tools. Gain the confidence to work with these ancient tools and techniques and leave class with two pairs of custom shoelaces ready to wear around town. Youth crafters age 12yrs+ may register with an accompanying adult (who is also registered for class). All levels welcome. Note: Use of both hands required.
