This booklet describes the history of plant dyeing in Iceland, spanning the past, present, and future. Gudrun Bjarnadottir teaches botany and also runs the plant dyeing workshop Hespa at Olfus in southern Iceland. Gudrun has been collecting information on plant dyeing and the traditional use of plants for many years and has used it in her teaching.
