Embrace a handmade holiday with stitched fabric ornaments — perfect to gift or use in your home decor! Learn techniques for sewing and stuffing small items on a sewing machine. Bring together scrap fabric and contrast cotton prints to create a few different ornament styles. Leave with up to five completed ornaments plus detailed instructions for how to make more at home.

Textile Center will have a couple of sewing machines and extra fabric available for class use; however students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machines (in good working order) as well as notions, buttons, and fabric from home to use in making their ornaments.

To join this community-based Crafternoon class, please select one of the two-hour time slots available in the drop-down menu. Same-day registration is available, though pre-registration is strongly encouraged to reserve your spot. Open to beginners who feel comfortable using a sewing machine.
