Get ready for a deeper dive into serger sewing with this next level, intermediate machine class. Learn additional stitch formations which most sergers can accomplish including three thread rolled hem, soft rolled hem, blanket stitch, and flat locking. Time permitting, we will also review 2-thread overlock and rolled hems for those students having machines with 2-thread capability. We will not review cover or chain stitches other than to learn what they look like as these require specialized machines.

Students should have already taken “Understanding Sergers” and/or be comfortable threading their sergers and adjusting tension for basic, three, and four thread over-lock stitch applications.
