This class will provide you with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to master machine tension. Learn about the major factors that can affect tension and how to compensate for them. Knowing how to adjust the tension for a variety of different sewing applications will free you to explore more creative and advanced sewing skills. It will also make sewing a more enjoyable and productive experience! This is a hands-on workshop; bring your sewing machine, in good working condition, along with your favorite sewing thread.

Instructor Bio:
Steve Pauling has had a life-long interest and passion for collecting, fixing, refurbishing, and using sewing machines. He began servicing and repairing machines about 15 years ago. His technical knowledge of sewing machines and mastery of tailoring skills have provided him with a unique understanding and perspective for teaching others. Pauling has taught classes in machine use and maintenance, as well as in the fine art of tailoring across the Twin Cities and at Textile Center. bobbinhousestudio.com
