3 week class

Colleen Kahn

Are you held back in your sewing for fear of working with zippers? Would you like to use zippers more competently (and confidently!) in your sewing projects? Join us in a journey to happy zipper sewing! Explore many zipper applications including exposed, invisible, and lapped/centered. Option to tackle a fly if there is enough interest and relevant skills. Bring your sewing machine in good working order as well as your machine’s zipper foot and invisible zipper foot. Students may need to purchase the invisible zipper foot as these do not always come standard with a machine’s accessories. Please refer to your sewing machine manual for purchasing recommendations. Examples will be described in the first class meeting.

Materials fee is $15, payable to the instructor at the time of class.
