Your Own Master Dress Pattern • July 20 and 27
Adult, Adult Classes, Featured Class
Wednesdays, July 20 & 27, 6 – 9 pm
Dresses, skirts, blouses, and tops are all modeled on the dress sloper, or master pattern. Join us in this class to learn all about making a proper fitting dress sloper. Students will create a draft of their own sloper during the first class. Then make a muslin of that pattern at home, and bring it to the second session, where the instructor will lead each student in adjusting and refining their personal sloper for a custom fit. Class will include discussion on how to use your fitted sloper in conjunction with commercial patterns. Basic sewing skills are necessary. Please be prepared to bring a sewing machine (in good working condition, with foot pedal and power cord) to the second class to work on your muslin. Materials fee $5, payable to the instructor at the time of class.
This is an in-person class, which requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Click here to submit your proof of vaccination. Proof of vaccination must be received 3 days (72 hours) before class, or your registration is subject to cancellation with a full refund of your payment.
