Alonzo Pantoja
Keep weaving fresh and contemporary with this beginner-level, three-hour workshop where you will develop basic weaving techniques to create your own collaged, sculptural woven artwork. The use of non-traditional hand-looms and hand-weaving techniques will be examined, including but not limited to plain weave, twill, and embroidery. Assemble your own looms to learn what it means to construct, deconstruct, and reconstruct weavings to communicate form, balance, and meaning. Basic weaving experience a plus.
