The word “Familiar” in European folklore refers to a “close friend” or “companion” and is often depicted as an animal who shares a close connection with a witch or sorcerer. These loyal helpers and guardians assist with magical and daily household tasks.
Create an Animal Familiar or celebrate your existing animal companions by creating needle felted likenesses in their honor! Want to create an offering to your Famliar? We’ll provide some cat nip to incorporate into your felted object- creating the purrrfect cat toy for your friend!
Ages 21+, well-behaved dogs are welcome in Sociable’s Tap Room. Pre-registration is recommended, but drop-ins are welcomed to join!
This class is located at Sociable Cider Werks, 1500 Fillmore St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413. Parking is available in the lot in front of their building. We encourage participants to support Sociable and purchase a cider, seltzer, beer, or NA beverage when you come for class!
