Steve Pauling

One reason older mechanical machines are being rediscovered and appreciated is that sewers can perform most maintenance procedures themselves. We will open up the hood and discover the fundamentals of performing machine maintenance on a mechanical sewing machine. We will walk through the steps of inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and trouble-shooting common problems. No computerized or newer plastic “clam-shell” machines will be addressed in this class. **See supply list of items you need to bring with you to class**
