Karen Morris, Guest Teaching Artist

This workshop will introduce students a new experience in making sculptural straw headpiece without using wooden block.  The draping of straw to create a silhouette design of headpiece will be taught, and students will learn to develop the understanding of design, proportion, balance, and the application of color to a headpiece.  Don’t miss this opportunity to join us for this special day-long course, designed to help students develop their manipulation skills and knowledge of millinery practices using both traditional and modern millinery techniques. This class is suitable for all levels. Materials fee $45, payable to instructor. **See supply list of items to bring to class**
