Bonnie Buzza

Learn about the skill of wheat weaving as it is done in Europe and Scandinavia, and make several Scandinavian holiday decorations for your house or tree.  You’ll learn how to clean and prepare the wheat, tie it, and twist or plait (braid) it to make your own figurines. Leave class with a goat and a tomte or two (and maybe a simple plaited ornament), and wheat to take home for more weaving there. Great for beginners and the family! Up to two children, ages 8-12 years, are welcome to participate with a registered adult. Please note: students will be tying knots in thread so general finger dexterity is needed. Materials fee $10, payable to instructor. **See supply list of items to bring to class**
