Learn how to add elegant and clean lines to your handwork with this Japanese embroidery technique. Traditionally, these running stitches were used to decorate and reinforce worn fabric. Working from a simple pre-printed Sashiko pattern, experiment with different types of thread, fabric, and backing materials to make your fabric distinct with lively contrast. Perfect for the advanced beginner! Intro to Sashiko or previous Sashiko experience recommended prior to taking this course. Materials fee of $25, payable to the instructor. **See supply list of items to bring to class**
