Sandra Brick

Explore a different form of Japanese stitching. Kogin is a type of Sashiko, using a loosely woven fabric and straight stitches to create densely filled symmetrical motifs and repeating patterns. Working with a kit containing authentic kogin thread, needle, and pre-designed fabric, you will test out kogin stitches, learn about the history of the technique, and come away with a hand-stitched pincushion. This project-based class is perfect for beginners!  **See supply list of items to bring to class**
